The Analysis Exchange is an effort to connect non-profits with web analytics resources. The web analytics resources comprise a learner gaining hands on experience and a mentor giving back while polishing their managerial skills.
Projects are two to three weeks in length, defined in scope and have been received very well.

Web Analytics Association
The worldwide professional organization focusing particularly on Web Analytics, the Web Analytics Association (WAA) works on standards, fosters a collaberative environment and leads a certification program.
Web Analytics Wednesdays
A free, casual get together for stimulating coversation over drinks withg people in the web analytics field, vendors and curious onlookers Web Analytics Wednesdays (WAW) are a great time.
I work as a host for the event, so if you are looking for publicity with an engaged crowd we should start a conversation about the WAW.

Association for Computing Machinery
The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is the world’s first scientific and educational computing society.
They are a mature organization with excellent resources, if you are in the computing field you should definitely take a look at them.

San Francisco Bay Area ACM
San Francisco Bay Area ACM has members from all across companies in the Silicon Valley and is involved in regular events for members.
I presented “Social Media Effects of Dialectical Differences In American English” at the SF Bay Area ACM Data Mining Camp.

At this point my involvement with the Debian/Ubuntu project is filling out as complete a bug report as possible, and beta testing the new releases.
